Qatar will host 2023 Asian Cup after World Cup

Qatar will host the 2023 Asian Cup 6 months after the World Cup.

The Qatar Football Federation announced the country's hosting of the 2023 AFC Cup, while there had been speculations in this regard for the past few days, and finally the AFC made the final decision and entrusted the hosting of this adventurous cup to Qatar.

This is despite the fact that before this, China was supposed to host the AFC Cup and had built attractive stadiums to hold the most important national football event in Asia, but in the end, Covid-19 and restrictions on the entry of foreigners into the country caused China to be restricted.

After that, four countries, Australia, South Korea, Indonesia and Qatar, were candidates for hosting, but Australia withdrew very soon, and then Qatar took the upper hand and finally got permission to host.

Qatar will be the host of the Asian Cup for the third time. The last time in 2011, this competition was hosted by Qatar, which was accompanied by Japan's championship.

An interesting point is that Qatar, as the first country in the world, hosts the Asian Cup six months after hosting the World Cup and continues to present itself as the capital of football in the Asian continent.

The details of the hosting and the host stadiums have not been announced yet.
