Liverpool players were disappointed Mane departed, Diaz admits
Luis Diaz has revealed that the Reds’ players were disappointed when they understood that Sadio Mane wanted to depart the club and make a move to Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

played for Liverpool for six successful years and in the summer, he departed the club to join Bayern Munich. The Reds fans were given a big blow as Mane established himself as a key player for the team. When he decided to leave, his teammates were left with a big loss.

"Obviously he’s a player that will be missed in any club. He’s gone to a big club and is working to achieve his goals."
The Reds have had a hard time without the 30-year-old as they sit ninth in the Premier League following their two victories in seven games. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that his players are struggling to have confidence, but Diaz is sure that things will take a turn when they win a few matches, insisting that momentum is very crucial.
"It’s simple. Win, win and win,"
he added, speaking after their 2-0 victory over Rangers in the Champions League.
"I think winning gives you much more confidence, but not only that, to play well and leave the pitch with the impression you gave your all. For me, that’s the most important thing.
"But when that doesn’t happen, we have to try and improve in training to try and rectify in the next game. We’ve very happy with the win tonight, now we’ll rest to prepare for what’s coming.”
