Nketiah and Jesus can play at the same time - Arteta
The two strikers of the Gunners are in close competition to be included in the starting line-up.
Mikel Arteta claimed that Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus can play in the same team, but he cannot promise anyone the opportunity to play in the first team.
23-year-old Nketiah, who was rumored to be leaving the Gunners, renewed his contract with the club after his brilliant performances last season. The presence of Jesus in Arsenal has caused Nketiah to leave the starting line-up, but Arteta claimed that the simultaneous presence of two strikers in his team is possible.
He said:
"I know with Eddie, I am sure he wants to play every single minute of every competition. Gabi's been playing, and he's been phenomenal.
"I think they can play together. We'd have to change one or two things in the team structure. But he has participated in most of the games in the league, and he has played in Europe.
"I cannot promise anybody. What he gives us is his best, whether it is five minutes or 90 minutes."
