Firmino on Liverpool: "It wasn't the start we wanted, that's clear"

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has opened up on the club's start to the 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

Liverpool

have won only two of their first six Premier League games. But

Roberto Firmino

is hopeful about the rest of the season.

As reported by AW on Twitter, he told

Sky Sports

, "Obviously, it wasn't the start we wanted. We drew some games and lost one, but we haven't lost since then, and we've worked hard in training to get better, give our all every day, and get rid of these mistakes."

"The season is long, we have many games left, and we're not going to give up until the last game." We love how Firmino thinks. The truth is that Liverpool still has a lot of time to get their season back on track.

The Reds are the best team in the world. There was a reason Liverpool tried to win all four trophies last season.

Jurgen Klopp

has a lot of good players to choose from. Firmino has had a good start to the season so far.

In six games for Liverpool's first team, the forward has scored three goals and set up three others. Firmino's WhoScored player rating has been 7.36 on average this season. Hopes are high that the Brazil international will continue to play well and help Liverpool win a trophy this season.
