Inaki Williams in Ghana's squad as Black Stars prepare for World Cup

The former Spain striker has the opportunity to participate in the World Cup with Ghana.

Athletic striker Inaki Williams was called up to the Ghana squad for the first time.

The Black Stars are preparing for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and Williams' inclusion in the list with the World Cup just around the corner shows that he has a good chance of being in Qatar. Born in Spain, William only made one appearance for Spain in a friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2016, which is why the 28-year-old striker was able to switch his allegiance.

Ghana qualified for the World Cup 4 years later and now Williams has the chance to play in the World Cup. Mohamed Salisu, the star of Southampton, is another player who has recently been invited to Ghana. He had previously rejected Ghana's call-ups. Also, Tariq Lamptey, who played in England's youth team, is in Ghana's squad.

The Black Stars are in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
