Allegri confirms Rabiot will play for Juventus against Sampdoria

The Bianconeri's midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. However, turning down the switch to the Premier League, Juventus's boss reveals Rabiot will play his first Serie A game since his move collapsed tomorrow.

Manchester United

decided to end the negotiations with

Adrien Rabiot

on Tuesday due to his salary demands. The 27-year-old reportedly demanded a €10m per year salary but United was not willing to increase their offer and therefore the deal collapsed. United now is talking with

Real Madrid

over the transfer of Casemiro.

Destined to stay in Turin, the

Juventus

boss confirmed in his press conference the French midfielder will make an appearance for the Bianconeri against

Sampdoria

. Rabiot joined Juventus in 2019 as a free agent from

Paris Saint-Germain

. He has scored 6 goals in 129 matches but has failed to impress during his time in Serie A.

Max Allegri

said:

"Rabiot will play tomorrow. On the transfer market, [with] players, it is normal that there are chances that they can leave and that the club will ask if the player is available."

The

Serie A

giants have strengthened their squad with the recruitment of Angel Di Maria,

Filip Kostic

, Bremer, and Pogba in the transfer window.

Max Allegri

wants to rely on the former Man United midfielder

Paul Pogba

throughout the season as his injury record will see him miss the first few weeks of the season.

"Regardless of the transfer market, we must do our best with the squad we have available,"

he added.

"We are doing a lot these months. without being distracted."
