Wolverhampton signed Portuguese star Nunes
The Portuguese star will soon play in the Premier League.
have announced the signing of
Sporting Lisbonmidfielder Matheus Nunes for £42.2m.
Bruno Lage's side will pay £38m plus £4.2m for the 23-year-old midfielder. A personal agreement with Nunes has not yet been finalized, but Wolverhampton hope to be able to register the transfer by mid-Friday in order to use him in Saturday's match against Tottenham.
Nunes joined Sporting from Estoril in January 2019 and spent three and a half seasons in Lisbon. He played 76 games for the club and scored 7 goals in all competitions. He played his first game for Portugal last year, so far he has played 8 times for his international side and scored one goal.
