Dortmund's Raphael Guerreiro becomes Manchester City's priority target

With Oleksandr Zinchenko joining Arsenal earlier in the transfer window, City has been on the hunt for a left-back and they suffered a blow when their primary target, Marc Cucurella, joined their Premier League rivals, Chelsea. Now, they reportedly eying Dortmund’s Raphael Guerreiro.

, Manchester City is working on signing Borussia Dortmund left-back Raphael Guerreiro. The outlet reports

the Citizens

are also considering Stuttgart's Borna Sosa, but the Portuguese left-back is their priority.

from Lorient on a €12 million deal,

the 28-year-old

has contributed 34 goals and 37 assists across 189 appearances he has made for the Bundesliga giants, in addition to making 56 senior appearances for Portugal.

 

In addition to Guerreiro, City is also in the advanced stage of signing Anderlecht's left-back,

Sergio Gomez

, who is considered a development player by City and is considered to be loaned out when he is purchased by the Premier League champions.
