appearances, Bayern Munich winger Klara Buhl impressed in Germany's quarter-finals 2-0 victory over Austria, striking the crossbar in an entertaining contest that saw them woodwork hit five times. An early overload in the Austrian box brought about the first goal of the night, Klara Buhl's pullback dummied by Alex Popp for Lina Magull to strike low.

However,

Germany's social media accounts

on Tuesday issued an update that read:

"Klara Buhl has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the semi-final vs France.

"She has been isolated but is not currently displaying symptoms. The rest of the team and staff have returned additional negative tests."
