Dusan Vlahovic: 'I am addicted to scoring goals'

In the last two seasons, Dusan Vlahovic has become one of the most dangerous finishers in Serie A, and he wants to score even more goals for Juventus.

Dusan Vlahovic

,

Juventus

' star, says he can't help but score goals. The Serbian player has done a good job of feeding that addiction. He scored 38 goals in 58 Serie A games for Fiorentina over the last two seasons and seven goals in 15 games for Juve since he moved there for a lot of money in January.

Vlahovic moved to the

Bianconeri

from

Fiorentina

for a reported €70 million. He adjusted well to life in Turin and helped his new team get into the

Champions League

by helping them finish in fourth place.

When asked by Icon Magazine what it means to him to score goals, the 22-year-old didn't hold back. "It makes me feel good," he said. "It fills me completely, so I feel empty when I don't feel it, like when the game is over.

"It feels like flying. I'm so happy that I feel like I'm flying. It's like fuel; once you've tried it, you want more. On the other hand, you have to experience that feeling at all costs. It's a habit that keeps you going all the time. That's what keeps me going."

Vlahovic came to Juve with a big name, and in the second half of the 2021-22 season, he played in 21 games and helped score 10 goals in all competitions. Between his debut in early February and the end of the season, he scored 10 goals and set up at least two more goals than any other Juve player.

"I work on football around the clock, seven days a week," he said "what do I do when I get home? I like to watch football. "I watch them for fun, unwinding, learning, and getting better. I notice things, think about them, and figure out what they mean."
