Scaloni compared Messi to Rafael Nadal after the five-goal exploit

Messi became the fourth top scorer in the history of international football.

Argentina

coach Lionel Scaloni compared

to Rafael Nadal after his side's 5-0 win over

Estonia

with five goals from Paris Saint German star.

Messi increased the number of his international goals to 86, and now he has scored two more goals than the Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas, and has risen to the fourth place of the top scorers in history. Messi's brilliant performance came on the same day that tennis legend Rafael Nadal defeated Casper Ruud at the French Open to take his Grand Slam record to 22. Therefore, Scaloni praised Barcelona legend's performance and compared him with the Spanish tennis champion.

He said:

"I don't know what else to say. It's very difficult; it's like Rafa Nadal, what are you going to say?

"It is preferable that the journalists speak, that they speak. You have no words left to describe it, and above all, for everything it generates."

"He is something unique, and it is a pleasure to have him in this group. It is a pleasure to train him, the entire coaching staff. And it's a pleasure his behaviour and how he toasts to his shirt.

"We only have words of thanks. I don't think he's just the heritage of Argentina; he's the heritage of the world, of world football. The day he doesn't play anymore, we are going to miss him."
