Dortmund set to sign Karim Adeyemi as Haaland's replacement
The German striker will leave Austrian side in the summer to join Dortmund.
While
Liverpoolmade a lot of efforts to attract the German star, but in the end Dortmund is very close to attracting Adeyemi and this transfer will be final soon. Earlier in January 2020, Dortmund signed Erling Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg, which is a very successful transfer.
Rumor has it that Haaland will join Manchester City, so Dortmund are set to sign a replacement for the Norwegian star. Liverpool were among the clubs that wanted to sign the German star, but rivalry with Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz prevented Adeyemi from joining the Reds.
Adeyemi has scored 23 goals and sent 8 assists to his teammates in 42 games this season. He is expected to become one of the best strikers in the world in the future. Dortmund are said to have spent around € 38 million to sign him.
