Kimmich after Bielefeld game: We really want to win the Bundesliga now

Bayern Munich can secure a 10th straight Bundesliga title next weekend after they bounced back from their Champions League exit in midweek with a 3-0 win at Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday.

Bayern Munich

 triumphed 3-0 at struggling

Arminia Bielefeld

on Sunday, extending their lead over second-placed

Borussia Dortmund

to nine points with four games remaining in the German league.

When the teams meet in Munich next Saturday, the

Bundesliga

race might be determined. After being knocked out of the Champions League quarterfinals by

Villarreal

of Spain earlier this week, Bayern needed this win more than ever.

Serge Gnabry scored the second goal - also awarded following a VAR review - in the eighth minute of first-half stoppage time from another pass by Kimmich as Joshua had a really great game.

"We really want to win the league now. Next week we can secure it against BVB, it's a special game. But of course, we have to work through the season afterward. We were eliminated early in Pokal & CL. We were planning for more" Kimmich said on winning only one title this season.

"The first half was pretty good, the second half was a bit slower. But in the end a deserved win. It was very difficult for me to accept Tuesday's elimination. It was still in the back of my mind."

Joshua Kimmich

 told DAZN.
