El Clasico breaks attendance record at a women's football match

Women’s El Clasico at the Nou Camp has set a new attendance record for a women’s fixture.

at the Nou Camp has set a new attendance record.

91,553 watched Barcelona and Real Madrid match on Wednesday night. The Previous record was 90,185 at the 1999 World Cup final.

 

The previous attendance record for a women’s domestic tie came in 2019 when 60,739 watched Atletico Madrid’s game against Barcelona at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Barcelona beat Real Madrid 5-2 on the night and 8-3 on aggregate.
