Pirlo married his partner and entered the FIGC Hall of Fame

got married to his partner Valentina Baldini in Turin on Sunday, with a lot of his ex-teammates attending the ceremony, like Ignazio Abate and Massimo Ambrosini, the former

players. The two have been dating for eight years after the ex-

boss ended his first marriage.

Soon after getting married for the second time, Pirlo entered the FIGC Hall of Fame.

It’s a great honour to be part of the Hall of Fame,”

Pirlo told the FIGC’s official website.

Pirlo was named in the Hall of Fame in 2020 but due to the pandemic, he will get the award in May, when he plans to donate to the ‘Museo del Calcio’ at Coverciano, which represents his career.

“

I don’t know what I’ll bring,”

the midfielder admitted.

“I will choose among a shirt, a ball, or other objects that I have at home. The Museo del Calcio is a beautiful place and hopefully, there will be new trophies soon.”

A number of his former teammates have already been in the Hall of Fame, like Alessandro Del Piero, Francesco Totti, Alessandro Nesta, as well as his former coaches Antonio Conte and Carlo Mazzone.

“Alessandro is one of my best friends, we used to be roommates during the training retreats. With Conte on the bench, I lived a fantastic adventure. We are on good terms and we still talk sometimes. The same goes for Lele Oriali with whom I worked at Inter and with the national team.

“Mazzone changed my role at Brescia and I will forever be grateful to him for that.”
