Milan keen on acquiring Man Utd’s Bailly on loan

As per reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils defender has attracted the attention of Milan as they are on the lookout for a Simon Kjaer replacement. The Rossoneri want a loan deal, however.

Based on recent reports,

Manchester United

are willing to send

Eric Bailly

to

Milan

on a loan contract when the season ends. However, they may ask the

Serie A

side to include an option to purchase in the contract.

Bailly made a move to the Red Devils from Villarreal in 2016 on a deal worth €38m. however, he has had a hard time getting playing time this season, having made only seven appearances.

The Rossoneri aim to replace their injured defender

Simon Kjaer

and Bailly emerges as their main target since Lille are not willing to cash in on Sven Botman in January.

Milan are also keeping tabs on Manchester City’s Nathan Ake. His salary is too high for the Serie A giants and Bailly seems to be more affordable.

The Red Devil is currently on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Milan contract rebel Frank Kessie. They will represent their country in their battle against Equatorial Guinea on Thursday.
