Ramos sidelined again due to ‘muscle fatigue’

Paris Saint-Germain’s Sergio Ramos is set to miss Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash against Lens, the club confirms.

Sergio Ramos

ended his 16-year stint at

Real Madrid

this summer and joined the French side

Paris Saint-Germain

, however, Ramos’ long-standing injury prevented the Spaniard from featuring for the Parisian side.

Ramos finally returned to the pitch and made his debut for PSG in last weekend's 3-1 victory over Saint-Etienne. He also took a break in Wednesday night's goalless draw against Nice and was not included in the final list.

Although the 35-year-old was expected to make his second appearance for the French giants in Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash against Lens, the club confirmed a few hours ago that Ramos is set to be sidelined for the upcoming match due to ‘muscle fatigue’.

A club statement reads:

"Ramos' workload has been adapted for muscle fatigue following his return to play. He will resume training with the squad on Sunday.”
