Galatasaray and Besiktas to compete for Sobhi’s services

The two Turkish giants are getting ready to compete for the Egypt international’s signature in the winter transfer window.

Galatasaray

have been eyeing

Ramadan Sobhi

for a while now and the links are becoming more as rumor has it that the Egyptian star is unsettled at

Pyramids FC

.

According to reports in Turkey,

Fatih Terim

is eager to acquire the former Stoke City winger’s services to turn things around after their off-the-track start to the season.

As per reports from Fotomac, however, Galatasaray will face competition in signing the player as their rivals

Besiktas

are also keen on penning with him in January.

Galatasaray are sitting fourth in the Turkish Super Lig table, nine points adrift of Trabzonspor on top, whereas Besiktas are sixth, which is one point behind their bitter rivals.

Another player who has been linked with a move to both clubs is

Mohamed Elneny

, the Arsenal midfielder, who has already agreed terms with Galatasaray.

Since making a move to Pyramids, Sobhi met the back of the net 11 times and contribute six assists in 41 matches. He is familiar with European football as he featured for ex-Premier League clubs Stoke City and Huddersfield Town between 2016 to 2019.
