Firmino will be out for some time - Klopp

Firmino will not be able to play for the Brazil due to injury.

Liverpool

boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed that Roberto Firmino will be sidelined for some time due to a serious injury.

The Brazilian star suffered an injury during his team's match against Atletico Madrid and was forced to leave the field between the two halves. He was on Brazil's squad for the World Cup qualifiers, but will miss the games with an injury. Now, in an interview with the Liverpool website, the club confirmed the severity of the injury.

He said:

"Bobby is not good news with a serious hamstring injury, really unfortunate.

"We don’t know exactly how long he will be out but it will be not now after the international break directly. We have to work on that.”

Asked about the timing of Firmino's return to action, Klopp said:

"Weeks still, I don't know exactly. More than four, which I would consider a serious injury.

"Then we have to see, it's Bobby, he's a quick healer."
