Inzaghi gives squad update ahead of Sampdoria clash

The Nerazzurri coach says Alessandro Bastoni will not be able to play against the Blucerchiati.

Having started the new season on a perfect note, Inter will face

Sampdoria

in their first game after the international break. Simone Inzaghi, who joined the Nerazzurri from Lazio earlier this summer, says he will make his lineup decisions tomorrow.

“Tomorrow, I have to evaluate for the formation, today I will see the four South Americans who arrived between last night and this morning,”

Inzaghi said.

“I will talk to them in the session today, this time I won’t have a lot of options but I will have to understand who have recovered from the hardships with the national teams."

Alessandro Bastoni

, who played for Italy during their recent World Cup qualifiers, will not be able to play against the Blucerchiati.

“[Alessandro] Bastoni returned tired, he’s certainly out tomorrow. Yesterday, he was in pain and on Monday he will be examined.

“It’s an absence that will affect us, but I have Kolarov, Dimarco and D’Ambrosio.”

Following their battle against Sampdoria, Inzaghi’s side will face Real Madrid in their first Champions League match of the season.
