Koke hopeful of Atletico’s chances of repeating their La Liga success

Celta Vigoon Sunday. The Rojiblancos will try to defend their league title this season as they have added new faces to their squad.

Marcos Paulohas arrived at the Spanish club with a free transfer from Fluminense. Ahead of Atletico’s game against Celta Vigo, Koke expressed his excitement over the start of the new season.
“It will be an exciting year, we always want to have a great season, hopefully we can match last season and be champions again,”
he told the club's official
website.
“But for that to happen, there is a lot of work to do.
“It has been a different preseason, but there is no excuse not to start well.
“We have to adapt as quickly as possible and continue doing what we do well, which is compete, fight and win the games.”
Simeone is forced to consider injury problems ahead of the game. Joao Felix has returned to team training after an operation, but he might not be available for the Sunday match. Felipe Monteiro is also injured but has a higher chance of playing against the Sky Blues.
