Fiorentina and Marseille reach an agreement over Lirola

Fiorentina and Olympique Marseille are on the verge of reaching an agreement over Pol Lirola’s move on a €12m transfer.

Pol Lirola

was playing for

Marseille

on a loan spell last season and the Ligue 1 side had chosen not to pay the €12m option to buy.

However, the wing-back and Marseille were keen on making the deal permanent. They have been discussing the terms of the agreement with

Fiorentina

for weeks.

As per reports from

Sky Sport Italia

, the two sides have reached an agreement on paying in several instalments over a few seasons.

The 23-year-old and Marseille have agreed terms as far as personal ones. The Viola have acquired the Spanish right-back in 2020 from Sassuolo with a price tag of €13m plus bonuses.
