in January, he has not been able to make his debut due to persistent groin problems.

The 20-year-old talked about the injury that has kept him out of Hungary’s

squad, his recovery process, and the long way he has still ahead of himself to become fully fit and prepared in an interview with Sport Bild.

"I continue to go step by step towards 100 percent and want to recover fully as soon as possible," said Szoboszlai.

"It hasn't been an easy time for me body-wise and mentally. In the beginning, I first had to accept the fact that I would be out for a long time," admitted the youngster.

He also talked about the upcoming season with Leipzig:

"Quite simply, I want to play as much as I can and do as well as I can in the league. The DFB-Pokal final was a great experience, even from the outside. I'd like to reach the final again and win the cup with Leipzig."
