Garcia excited after returning to Barcelona
The Spanish star will continue playing football in Blaugrana and is hopeful for the future.
Spanish defender Eric Garcia, who returned to Barcelona after four years, expressed his happiness to have another chance at his favorite club.
Garcia left Barcelona for Manchester City in 2017, and in recent seasons he has been able to gradually find a place in Guardiola's squad, performing brilliantly last season. The Spanish star is on the Spain squad for Euro 2020 and will accompany La Roja in this competition. Now he claims that he is excited to have another chance in Barcelona.
He told

"My dream has been to play for Barcelona’s first-team since I was little. “That’s why changing today in the Camp Nou dressing room is like reaching the end of a road you start out on as a baby. Now we have to achieve very big things. Hopefully a future full of success will come, and you can tell Catalans that I’ll give everything for this shirt. The club has instilled it in me; here, you have to win. So I’m very happy to return home.”
The young Spanish defender started his football career at the Barcelona Academy and played for these teams from 2008 to 2017. The tempting offer from the Premier League champions sent him to England, and after 4 years, he returned to his hometown.
