I signed Juventus because of Allegri - Adrien Rabiot

The France international Adrien Rabiot is not interested in leaving Juventus and admits that he joined Bianconeri two years ago thanks to Allegri.

Two years ago, I signed Juventus also because I knew he was the coach,

Rabiot

told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Juventus won so many trophies with him on the bench, reaching the Champions League Final twice. I think he used the last two years to observe football and how it’s evolving.”

Allegri has returned to the Juventus bench after two years, replacing Andrea Pirlo.

I was on good terms with Pirlo,”

Rabiot admitted.

“I followed his tips on how to improve my positioning and speed up the attack, playing with just two touches.

“He has clear ideas, even if we sometimes we could not put them into practice. I liked his passion, and when you work with passion, you can’t have regrets.

“I see the glass half full after this season. We won two trophies and qualified for the Champions League.

“But it’s also half empty because it costed us not to win the Scudetto. It was a complicated season where we lost against teams, that on paper, were not as good as us.

“It was a difficult season because of COVID and a busy fixture list. That’s why we can’t underestimate the value of two trophies.

I feel well at Juventus,

” Rabiot continued.

“I feel appreciated by everyone, I recognize myself in the winning DNA of this club, and I don’t see why I should leave Juve. We have the quality to win the title again.

“The Supercup against Inter could be our revenge, and I want to win the Champions League as Juventus haven’t won it for too long.”

On 1 July 2019, Rabiot signed for the Italian side on a free transfer.
