Juventus close to announcing the return of Massimiliano Allegri

According to Sky in Italy, Juventus are close to stating Massimiliano Allegri's return as their head coach to replace Andrea Pirlo.

Juventus are expected to officially replace Pirlo with Allegri in the next 24 hours and bring the 53-year-old back to the bench after two years. Allegri Left the club in May 2019 to be replaced by Maurizio Sarri.

Although Pirlo won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana in his first senior management role, he failed to lead Juventus to their tenth consecutive Serie A title and he had an early farewell to the Champions League.

Allegri joined Juventus in 2014 and won 5 consecutive Serie A titles and 4 Coppa Italia. He also led the club to two Champions League finals, losing to Barcelona and Real Madrid.
