Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has decided to depart Guangzhou FC following Anderson Talisca’s departure, according to Xinhua.

Guangzhou FC

announced that their striker

Anderson Talisca

put pen to paper for a three-year contract with

Al Nassr

with a transfer fee of €8m.

"

Paulinho

will follow Talisca's move sooner or later, the club has already given the green light to his transfer,"

a source close to the Brazilian said.

"

He is in talks with some Brazilian and European clubs, and either transfer or loan is possible,"

he added.

The ex-Barcelona midfielder and Talisca could not join the squad this season given the Covid-19 restrictions regarding travels into China from Brazil.

The duo’s leave will be a big hit to the Chinese Super League as they have been losing many of their recognised players this season. however, Guangzhou FC will be relieved as they are under a lot of pressure financially.
