David Luiz set to leave Arsenal this summer
Arsenal center-back David Luis will part company with Gunners at the end of this season when his contract expires.
The Brazilian, who signed from
Chelseafor £8m two years ago, reportedly informed the Gunners this week that he will not sign an extension to his current deal at Emirates.
So this will be his final campaign in north London, with the center-back to move on a free transfer in the summer.
The 34-year-old has been linked with a free transfer to
David Beckham
's
Inter Miami, where he would reunite with former
PSG
teammate
Blaise Matuidi
in Major League Soccer.
"My dream is to end my career at Benfica,” he said in May 2020. “When, I don't know, but it will happen ... it will, if President [Luis Filipe] Vieira allows me and if the fans want me to come back.
"It will be one of the most beautiful moments of my career."
