Barcelona keep tabs on Ajax starlet

Ryan Gravenberch has been linked with a move away from the Johan Cruijff Arena recently.

After enjoying a great breakthrough season in 2019-20,

Ryan Gravenberch

was linked with a move to

Barcelona

last summer. The move was eventually blocked by

Ajax

due to the player’s important rule in

Erik ten Hag

’s team. However, according to

Mundo Deportivo

, the Catalans have reignited their interest in the Dutch midfielder.

Ronald Koeman

is reportedly interested in signing the player as a partner for

Frenkie de Jong

in the Blaugrana’s midfield. The Spanish side are also considering Gravenberch as a potential long-term replacement for

Sergio Busquets

. The 18-year-old’s contract with Ajax runs until 2023 and his current price tag is estimated to be around €30m. The midfielder has appeared in 29 league matches for Ajax this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists.
