It wasn’t an easy goal, but it went well - Quagliarella

The Italy international Fabio Quagliarella believes his goal ‘was not easy’ but admitted that meeting the target against Milan on Saturday was ‘a great satisfaction’.

Sampdoria

drew the clash against

Milan

, courtesy of Theo Hernandez’s gift to

Fabio Quagliarella

that helped him meet the back of the net.

The 38-year-old helped Sampdoria take the lead only for

Jens Petter Hauge

to pull them level, while Franck Kessie blew an opportunity to secure his side’s victory.

It’s always a great satisfaction to score,

” Quagliarella told

Sky Sport Italia

.

“I’m aware of my strength and I try to take advantage of the opportunity when it arrives.

“I took half a look, it wasn’t easy, but it went well.”

The veteran has met the target 10 times in

Serie A

this season; however, he is about to reach the end of his contract in June 2021.

You have to ask the President,”

Quagliarella replied when asked about his future.

“He hasn’t called me, but I’m a professional.

“The President knows what he’s doing.”
