USWNT’s Macario makes her Champions League debut with Lyon
The 21-year-old midfielder, who joined Lyon this February, made her Champions League debut during Lyon’s 2-0 victory over Brondby with goals from Nikita Parris and Melvine Malard.
Macario
started the game as the striker for the
Lyon
and was replaced by
Eugenie Le Sommer
in the 60
th
minute. She had made her domestic debut for the French Champions in the Division 1 Feminine clash against
Montpellier
on February 6.
Lyon
will travel to Denmark to face
Brondby
in the second leg of the tie on March 10.
