Torino missed the match against Lazio

"We respected the rules and we came to the stadium. Now we will wait 45 minutes, then we will leave everything in the hands of the competent bodies." Lazio sporting director said.

Torino

failed to show up for the match against

Lazio

at the opponent's home after the coronavirus breakout in their team.

Torino did not leave Turin as the local authorities advised the club and after the infected cases became more and more, the club's match against

Sassuolo

was postponed.

FIGC president, Gabriele Gravina showed his sympathy with the club as he said he would understand the "Force Majeure".

Torino updated the status of the training situation which was individually done under the restrictions that the authorities imposed on them.

It, however, takes some time for Serie-A League to make the final decision over this matter.

Igli Tare

, Lazio sporting director, talked to

Sky Sport Italia

and said:

"We respected the rules and we came to the stadium. Now we will wait 45 minutes, then we will leave everything in the hands of the competent bodies.

"Would I have preferred to play? Absolutely yes.

"I just have to respect the rules of the Lega. We know how things stand. We are here and this is the only thing that matters."
