Camavinga’s agent explains the player’s future plans

The youngster has been linked with several great clubs in the recent while and according to his agent, a great future is waiting the midfielder, who could cost more than €50 million.

According to

Eduardo Camavinga

’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, the

Rennes

player is destined to be

“the best midfielder in the world”

with a transfer cost of more than €50 million (£43.5m/$60m).

Camavinga’s praiseworthy performance has attracted the attention of several top clubs including

Real Madrid

, who could be one of his future destinations for the summer.

Talking about his client’s future, Barnett told

Goal

:

"At the moment, he's a Rennes player. He likes Rennes and, at the moment, we haven´t really taken to other clubs. It isn’t our position.”

"Let’s see what happens later on, but he’s doing well in Rennes and that’s fine. Being the best midfielder in the world, that’s how I see his future, [with] a lot of medals and a lot of trophies."

Later adding about the teenager’s possible destinations with Real Madrid being at the top, Barnett said:

"[Madrid are] a great club, a great club to play for. Eduardo will have a choice of a lot of clubs if Rennes decides to release him. They will be one of the four of five clubs in the world he might go to.”

"Eduardo would love to play for a top club. Madrid are one of those top clubs in the world, so are Barcelona."

Asked if the player would cost more than €50m, he responded:

"I would think so."

Still Camavinga’s future remains uncertain since the price suggested by Barnett could not work for many clubs due to the current financial difficulties caused by Covid-19.

Rennes currently sit 5th in the Ligue 1 table with too many points adrift form the top-four, which could prevent them from securing a spot in the Champions League for the upcoming season.
