Mattia Perin hopeful for Italy call-up
Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin is hopeful to break into the Italy squad after Genoa’s 2-1 victory over Napoli.
"We are demonstrating on the pitch the responsibility we have given ourselves. It is nice to see my teammates sacrifice so much, and the results are there to be seen,"

Perin
has played twice for his country and received his last call-up in October 2018.
“The CT knows me, if I wouldn’t want to return to the National team I would not be a competitive footballer,”
Perin said

“It’s not easy, I’ve fallen down the pecking order because I haven’t played much over the last seasons and I know I must work more than the others.
“Mancini knows what I can give, a call-up would be welcome, I am working also for this.”
