Abimanyu joined Jets on loan

The Jets boss is happy with his team's new signing.

announced that Syahrian Abimanyu will joined them on loan until the end of the 2020-21 season.

The young Inonesian star from Johor Darul Ta'zim II FC of Malaysia moved to the Australian League. The 21-year-old defender spent his yout career in La Liga and then made his official debut in 2018. His first game in the senior career was with Sriwijaya in Liga1 and he also played 8 games in his rookie season.

He then left for Madura United at the end of the season and played for the team for two seasons. During those two years, he played 20 games and then moved on to JDTLL. He is also a member of the Indonesian Olympic team and has played in the under-16, under-19 and under-23.

Jets manager Joel Griffiths said:

“Abi is a very skilful player that can see a pass.

“He’s only young but possesses a lot of skills you look for in an attacking player.

“You can't teach instinctive play and his football instincts are wonderful.

“He’s a very selfless player. The team first mentality gives me confidence he will slot straight into our team.”
