Aubameyang has talked about his absence

Aubameyang has talked about the reason he was away in the recent matches.

The

Gunners

’ striker

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

has missed their last two games. He says that his mother had some health issues, and this was why he couldn’t be with his side in the last two games.

The Gunners have experienced one defeat and a victory during their striker’s absence. The Gunners were defeated against Southampton in the FA Cup and won their Premier League match against the same team.

Aubameyang said thanks for Arsenal’s support during his hard time in his personal life on social media.

Here is what Aubameyang wrote on Twitter about his absence in the recent weeks:

“Hey guys, thank you so much for all the messages and calls over the last few days.

“My mother is going through some health issues and I had to be there for her. She’s already much better now and I will be back home tonight. I’m more than grateful to the doctors and nurses helping her get through this, and of course, thanks to my Arsenal fam for the love yesterday! I’m more determined than ever to keep our momentum going!

“Thank you all again – I really am beyond blessed to receive this level of support and love from all of you and I can’t wait to be back.”
