Andriy Lunin making his debut for Real Madrid

The 21-year-old will be making his first appearance 2 years after joining the club.

Andriy Lunin

will be the first man to be kept more than two years to make his debut after signing for his club.

He is now expected to make his first appearance for

Los Blancos

in the match against

Alcoyano

.

He joined the club 943 days ago which equals more than 30 months without making any appearance.

In August 2019, he went on a loan to

Real Valladolid

for the 2019–20 season. 

In January 2020, the loan with Real Valladolid was ended. On the very same day, Real Oviedo confirmed the loan of Lunin until June 2020.

In this period of time, Real Madrid saw three coaches: Julen Lopetegui, Santiago Solari, and

Zinedine Zidane

.

The €8.5 million summer deal of 2018 is now trying to be the primary back-up goalkeeper and has to feature in the match against Alcoyano on Wednesday.

He won Golden talent of Ukraine in 2017 and FIFA U-20 World Cup Golden Glove in 2019. He also managed to win FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2019.
