Mourinho wants to keep Harry Winks

Tottenham boss ends the rumors about Harry Winks’ exit.

Tottenham’s

midfielder

Harry winks

who was a regular starter in Pochettino’s time is now having a hard time finding his spot in

Mourinho’s

lineup and there were many speculations about his future at the club specially after the reports about him being linked with clubs around the Europe but Tottenham’s boss says that Winks is not going anywhere.

"Nothing has changed,”

Mourinho said when asked why Winks had become more involved in recent weeks

.

“Good Player. A player that I like, a player that I need, a player that the squad needs.

"A player with a contract for a few years. A player we don't want to sell, a play we don't want to loan. So if somebody is working on that they are losing time.

"Even for you journalists. If you keep speaking about something that is never going to happen. Don't lose your time. Don't lose your time. That is my advice."

Harry Winks has a contract with Spurs until the summer of 2024 and has played in 162 games for the club. His last time on the pitch was in Tottenham’s draw against Fulham.

Mourinho’s side will face Sheffield United in their next Premier League fixture and they have a chance to be among the top three teams in the table.
