D’Ambrosio out of action due to knee injury

Inter defender, Danilo D’Ambrosio is going to be out of action due to a knee injury.

, which led to an injury for the Italian.

Inter announced that

D’Ambrosio

was examined today at the Clinic after he was injured in yesterday's match.

The tests showed that the player have suffered from a

medial collateral strain

in his left knee.

Sky Sport Italia

reports that the D’Ambrosio can be out of action for about five weeks. Hence, if the recovery doesn’t take long, Antonio Conte can use the Italian defender in Milan derby which is scheduled to be held on February 21.

D’Ambrosio

has appeared in 16 matches for the Nerazzurri and has managed to score three times.

The 32-year-old’s contract will be expired at the end of the seaon.
