Jimenez is closer to return from injury
Jimenez has been sidelined since November 29, after a horror fractured skull injury the Mexican caught due to clashing heads with David Luiz during Wolves 2-1 win at Emirates Stadium.
Before returning to
Molineux
on December 10, the 29-year-old striker spent a few days under observation after the successful operation on his fractured skull.
The
Wolves
have been struggling in
Jimenez’s
absence as they have only won one of their last seven fixtures, the Mexican scored four goals during his 10 Premier League matches before his injury, and perhaps nothing like his return could cheer the Wolves’ fan up.
The club provided an update on the forward’s injury ahead of a third-round FA Cup clash with
Crystal Palace
on Friday.
"Raul is five weeks since his surgery following a fractured skull and is doing some early fitness work, but still has a way to go, however things are going well,"
an official statement on
Wolves'
website reads.
