Juric scored his first goal as Adelaide beat Melbourne City

Adelaide United got their first victory after they scored two goals against Melbourne City in front of the fans.

managed to get a 2-0 Victory over the 10-man

at Coopers Stadium. Both goals were scored in the second half and Adelaide got their first win for this season.

received two yellow cards and was sent off after an hour as

had his first goal of the new season. Carl Veart, Adelaide coach said that his players were ready to fight for the three points and talked about the importance of the fans in the stadium.

"I said at halftime, we needed to get the fans involved in the game,"

he said.

"And once they lift and they started supporting us then the players get a lift as well and we stepped our game up and took it to the next level and got the goals."

He also shared his opinion about the display after the red card.

"The signs were good and then obviously, the game changes with that decision towards the end,"

he said.
