Napoli step up interest in Palmieri and Firpo

Napoli are reportedly interested in January moves for Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri and Barcelona’s Junior Firpo.

The report details how the Italian side are looking for a new full-back to replace Helseid Hysaj as he may leave the club either in January or at the end of the season.

Faouzi Ghoulam also has an uncertain future at the club and he is expected to leave Napoli.

The

Azzurri

have their eye on both

Emerson

and

Firpo

who are about to leave their club in search of more chance to play.

The 26-year-old Emerson, who is contracted to the Blues until 2022, has hardly featured this season under Coach Frank Lampard and is likely to leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window.

Firpo, 24, has played 246 minutes in all competitions so far this season. Barcelona signed him from Betis in summer 2019 and the Spaniard has only managed two assists and one goal in 30 appearances since.
