Jeonbuk Motors selected Kim Sang-Sik as their new head coach

Two-time AFC Champions League victors, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors have declared Kim Sang-Sik will replace Jose Morais as the head coach of K League champions.

Kim assumes responsibility at the 2006 and 2016

champions following the finish of Morais' two-year contract, during which time the Portuguese drove Jeonbuk to consecutive K League titles just as the 2020 Korean FA Cup. 

The former Korea Republic international has been an assistant at

Jeonbuk

-where he played as a center-back for five years- since he hung up his boots toward the finish of the 2013 season. 

Kim won the K League title on three events during his playing career with Seongnam Ilhwa prior to getting another two league trophies after his transfer to Jeonbuk in 2009. 

Jeonbuk have been qualified for the 2021 AFC Champions League however smashed out of the just-finished up version of the continental club title in Qatar in the group stage unexpectedly since 2012.
