Potter aware of Ward-Prowse threat

James Ward-Prowse has been a great threat from set-pieces and Brighton's boss is aware of his quality.

James Ward-Prowse

scored a wonderful free-kick against Manchester United. It was not his first and won't be his last. He has become a freekick merchant and his long shots can be compared to prime David Beckham.

He has caused threats from set-pieces for all of the Premier League and

Graham Potter

clearly knows that. The England international has scored three times in his last four games with superb free-kicks.

Potter said:

“If you have seen Southampton recently, you can see how dangerous he is from corners, free-kicks, direct free-kicks. He’s probably the best in the league at the moment.

“His quality is there, they have got some physical, big players who can attack the ball as well.

“Southampton have got that string to their bow and they’re very good in those situations. We have to be mindful of that, definitely.”

Southampton will face

Brighton

after a 3-2 defeat against Manchester United. They scored two goals at the first half but conceded three at the last 25 minutes of the game.
