Ajax feels Gravenberch should go to the Netherlands squad

Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has been given the chance to be in the Netherlands squad by Head coach Ronald de Boer

Gravenberch

was elevated from the Under-21 squad after Tonny Vilhena was put out of the future internationals due to a positive coronavirus test.

The 18-year-old could earn his first game in the Nations League against Bosnia-Herzegovina or Poland but will not be in the squad for Wednesday's friendly against Spain.

So Head coach Ronald de Boer will have 24 players available for the Nations League fixtures on Sunday and Wednesday.

Gravenberch

has played six times in the Eredivisie this season and made two assists. After Illia Zabarnyi of Dynamo Kyiv, he is the second-youngest player yet to miss a minute of action in the 2020-21 Champions League.
