Garcia: "It was important to have patience"
Napoli defeated Union Berlin in the Champions League.
In their third game of the season in the Champions League,
Napolidefeated Union Berlin 1-0. Raspadori scored the goal for Napoli in this game.
“We barely suffered at all, but at the same time were not that dangerous when attacking either. We knew this game was not won before we started, despite what some might have suggested. When a team is on a run of bad results, they are statistically more likely to break that run than continue it."
Rudi Garcia told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
“There were too many mistakes in the first half and we misplaced some passes, which is bad because Union Berlin live on the errors of others to go on the counter-attack. It was important to have patience and not open up too much, though in the second half we moved the ball around better."
Napoli have earned six points from three games and are currently in second place in the table. They will play against Milan in their next game.
