Fullkrug: "I want to help the team with my style"
Fullkrug wants to be the starting striker of the Germany national team.
Nicholas Fullkrug, who has scored eight goals in 10 games for the
Germany national team, wants to become a regular striker in Germany starting lineup.
"I've scored eight goals in 10 appearances and have done everything I can to start more often. Sometimes the coach decided against it, but I was always able to contribute,"
he said.
"I want to be the first option at number nine, at least for the type of striker I am, and help the team with my style. That's worked pretty well so far, as long as I've been on the pitch,"
He scored a goal in the 3-1 victory of Germany against the United States in a friendly match for the Germany national team.
Nicholas Fullkrug joined Borussia Dortmund from Werder Bremen in the summer and has scored one goal for the team in four games.
