Flick:" I think we are doing well and I am the right coach"
Germany suffered a heavy defeat in a friendly game against Japan
hosted Japan in a friendly match but suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat.
Hansi Flick, the head coach of Germany, said after the match that he thinks he is the right coach for the German national team.
"We and the coaching staff are trying everything. I think we are doing well and I am the right coach,"
he said.
"We are really disappointed. You have to admit that Japan is a good team. We don't have the tools right now to beat a defense like that. The team tried again and again, then there were individual mistakes, which Japan then exploited and deserved such a big win."
Japan had also defeated Germany 2-1 in the 2022 World Cup.
Hansi Flick, the coach of the German national team, is under a lot of pressure after suffering four defeats in their last five matches. They will play against France in their upcoming game.
