Chelsea confirm Robert Sanchez has joined from Brighton on a seven-year deal.

Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, the co-sporting directors, expressed their delight with the signing of Sanchez on Chelsea's official website.

Sanchez played 90 matches for Brighton.
Chelsea will play their first Premier League match against Liverpool.
