Calvin Bassey signs for Fulham from Ajax
Bassey joins Fulham on a four-year contract deal.
confirm Calvin Bassey has joined from Ajax. Fee is almost £18 million. Bassey's contract is through the summer of 2027, with a club option for an additional year.
He is the second signing of this season for Fulham, following Jimenez.
After signing the contract with Fulham, he spoke to FFCtv.
“I know how big of a club Fulham is. They always have quality players, they’re playing in the Premier League, the best league in the world, so I didn’t have to think much about it.
“It’s a London club as well, so it’s always a plus to go home! I’m happy it’s all done now and I can just focus on the football and help the team build on last season, when they did amazing.”
He scored one goal in 39 matches for Ajax last season.
Fulham will play against Everton in their first match of the Premier League.
